E-mail Forwarding in Web Hosting
If you have a web hosting package with our company and you set up e-mail addresses in your account, you will be able to forward it with no more than a couple of clicks to another address of your choosing. The option can be enabled whenever you make a brand new mailbox or any time later on and disabled just as easily if you change your mind. This can be done from the Hepsia Hosting Control Panel where you will manage your account. In addition, you will have the option to choose if a copy of the incoming emails will remain on our servers or not. The main benefit of this feature is that you will always have a backup on your server if something occurs with the other email address or maybe if it's not active for some reason at the time an email message is forwarded. If the feature not active, a message will be received, forwarded and deleted from our system even if the remote e-mail is operating or not, so it might be a wise decision to have it active just to be on the safe side.
E-mail Forwarding in Semi-dedicated Servers
For people with a semi-dedicated server from our company, it will take simply a few mouse clicks inside the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Hosting Control Panel to forward the emails configured on our server to a third-party address. Inside the same area you will also be able to see how many of your email addresses are forwarded and where the inbound e-mails are sent. You can enable or deactivate a forwarding account at any time and during the process you may also decide if a copy of the messages should be maintained in our system or not. Although this feature isn't a must have, it's practical since you will have a copy of the messages on our end just in case that something happens with the third-party email address. Even if they have simply a short-term issue, you run the risk of losing e-mails as when our server receives and forwards a message, absolutely nothing will be kept on our end if you haven’t chosen a copy to be maintained.
